Brokerage Sales Representative 

Position Summary

This position is responsible for generating new business and supporting existing customer relationships within our brokerage division. Reporting to the VP of Brokerage, the Brokerage Sales Representative will focus on inside sales, including cold calling, lead generation, and account development, with some client-facing responsibilities. This role plays a key part in driving revenue and supporting the company’s growth goals through daily sales activities
and performance tracking.

Essential Job Functions

  1. Identify and develop new sales opportunities through cold calling, lead follow-up, and prospecting.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through regular communication and service follow-up.
  3. Collaborate with the Sales Manager to support monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  4. Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and pricing in line with company strategy and profit goals.
  5. Track and report sales activities weekly using CRM or other tracking tools; maintain accurate customer and pipeline records.
  6. Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer expectations are met and solutions are delivered.
  7. Support outside sales visits as needed to present services, develop relationships, or resolve customer concerns.
  8. Stay up to date with transportation industry trends, pricing structures, and customer expectations to remain competitive.
  9. Adhere to company policies, procedures, and compliance expectations.
  10. Participate in sales meetings and contribute to team-based strategy sessions and performance reviews.

Requirements/Qualifications

  1. 2+ years of experience in inside sales; experience in transportation or logistics preferred.
  2. High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business,Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  3. Proven ability to build rapport and effectively communicate over the phone and in person.
  4. Strong organizational skills and self-motivated to meet individual sales targets.
  5. Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms.
  6. Ability to travel occasionally for client visits or training.
  7. Bilingual (Spanish and English) preferred but not required.
